Roadside Station Meiho (Surusumi-no-sato Park) has a large collection of Meiho gourmet food. The statue of "Surusumi" in the middle of the parking lot is a landmark. A Meiho ham direct sales shop "Meiho Meat", where you can enjoy simple gourmet food using "Meiho ham" such as Meiho Frankfurter, fried Meiho ham, and Meiho ham croquette, is located inside . At Meiho Ladies' direct store "Okami-san", you can enjoy daily lunch boxes and local dishes, as well as Meiho's original "Meiho Ke-chan" set meal."Onisuke" is where you can buy freshly made rice balls using locally produced Koshihikari rice. "Genki" is where you can taste fried chicken and Meiho gelato, and "Soba-dokoro Kuromugi" provides handmade Soba and Hoba sushi are popular. You can enjoy the taste of Meiho at various stores. In 2021, Taiyaki restaurant "TAYO" is opened, and the number of local foods you can enjoy here has increased!
At the southern end of the site, Susumian, there is a hearth with fires from "Chiba family hearth" which has been burning for 800 years, and you can try Amago and chars grilled in this hearth while seeing the park. It is a hidden attraction of the roadside station.
In 2021, online shop "MEIHO.SHOP" is opened, and not only Meiho-ham but also foods, gifts, crafts, and outdoor gear made by local people with all their heart are available. We also delivered nationwide.
