From rafting, canoeing, trekking, and camping from spring to autumn, to the largest ski area in Western Japan, it is rare in Japan that outdoor sports and outdoor activities can be carried out throughout the whole year. We, Gujo is one of the leading areas in Japan as we have a large number of businesses providing outdoor activities.

We, Gujo Outdoor Council, are made up of 6 ski resorts, 6 campsites, and 4 outdoor activity business companies with our theme “Making Gujo an outdoor activity mecca throughout the year!”

We operate independently, work with publicizing companies in the city and work as one outdoor activity area providing centralized information and setting packages for visitors to know Gujo deeper and more enjoyable. We aim to create an outdoor activity mecca that we can introduce to the world proudly while enjoying and preserving the rich and unique natural environment.
